ADLIND: High-energy alternative rock with a metal heart đ¤
Formed in 2024 with the initial goal of getting the local rock crowd sweating and screaming, the overwhelming response in clubs catapulted .band onto national stages in record time. Now, for the first time, the band presents a fine selection of their material in the form of their debut EP âPROMISESâ, which was released on May 1.
On âPROMISES,â five polished tracks from their popular live set await us, through which Marcel Austein (guitar, vocals), Thomas Lang (guitar), Friedrich âBeggingerâ Hecking (drums, backing vocals), and Felix Thirion (bass) aim to introduce us to ADLIND from as many perspectives as possible.
Reviews from our media partners (translated from German):
âWith âPROMISES,â ADLIND delivers a powerful, clearly focused EP that blends modern alternative rock with intensity, melody, and a distinctive sound. The songs feel well-crafted, energetic, and accessible without losing their edge. It is particularly the combination of precise songwriting, striking riffs, and catchy hooks that makes this release a compelling statement. An EP that shows the Freiburg-based band not only has ambition but also the technical skill to establish a lasting presence in the scene.â

âStraightforward, metallic-sounding rock songs fill the living room. (...) The five-track compilation then ends in an almost epic fashion: âPromisesâ literally keeps the bandâs promise to loudly make the local rock crowd sweat.â
