Iron Maiden in Hanover 🤘🔥

Yesterday was one of those special days. Not only have played another breathtaking set in our hometown's arena, but Bruce Dickinson, Rod Smallwood, and Dave Shack took the time to visit us in our office. We had a very productive meeting and worked on exciting plans for the future.

Line-Up Change Announced for “Prelude To Madness” Tour

Savatage will soon return to Europe with their highly anticipated "Prelude To Madness" tour. Drummer Jeff Plate has now announced that a good friend will take his place behind the drums for the first two shows in early June. Here's his statement:

"Hey Savatage fans, hey friends. Jeff Plate here. I hope everyone is doing well, getting ready for summer and getting ready to enjoy some live music wherever you might be. Speaking of, Savatage has two amazing shows coming up in the first week of June. For the very first time, the band will be performing at Sweden Rock on June 4, followed by Heavy Week-End in France on June 5. Sharing the stage with Iron Maiden and Sabaton respectively, these are going to be fantastic shows.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to be there with the band for these two shows. Three years ago I experienced very intense, chronic nosebleeds which resulted in some dangerous blood loss and serious health concerns. This issue was taken care of surgically and all has been good — until a few weeks ago, when the bleeds started again. Having gone through this before, my management and I decided it was best that I not travel, especially by air, until this issue is again addressed and resolved. In my place will be Blas Elias, who has been part of the Savatage/TSO family for a decade and is the perfect man for the job. Blas is a huge fan of the music and has already played some of these songs live with TSO. His years working with Al Pitrelli and Johnny Middleton will make this a seamless transition — the band will be tight and flawless and sound fantastic.

It goes without saying how disappointed I am, but things happen and health is the obvious priority. Having said that, I am confident my doctors will take care of this problem and I will be back with the band in July for the next run in Europe. Thank you in advance for your concern, support, and well wishes. If you are lucky enough to see Savatage at these festivals, raise your fists, sing along, and enjoy some of the best progressive metal music ever written! Take care, everyone — I will see you soon!"

ADLIND: High-energy alternative rock with a metal heart 🤘

Formed in 2024 with the initial goal of getting the local rock crowd sweating and screaming, the overwhelming response in clubs catapulted .band onto national stages in record time. Now, for the first time, the band presents a fine selection of their material in the form of their debut EP “PROMISES”, which was released on May 1.

On “PROMISES,” five polished tracks from their popular live set await us, through which Marcel Austein (guitar, vocals), Thomas Lang (guitar), Friedrich “Begginger” Hecking (drums, backing vocals), and Felix Thirion (bass) aim to introduce us to ADLIND from as many perspectives as possible.

The first quarter of 2026 at CMM kicked off with speed metal maniacs from Budapest, who captivated us with prophetic messages in the form of single releases – offering a first glimpse of their third album “Under Haunted Skies”.

In addition, the French fantasy world-builders from gave us a first impression of the next chapter in their power metal saga with their singles “Sail On” and “Destiny Calls”. Together with the band, we’re looking forward to the release of their new album “Chemical Poetry” on October 30.

Our Hanoveranian neighbors – a medieval folk-metal band, released their debut EP “Verdammt und Vergessen”, welcomed fans to their release shows and announced various live performances in Germany and Switzerland this year.

Ein Jahr ist vergangen – und so war es diese Woche wieder Zeit, die Größen der Rock- und Metal-Szene zu feiern. 🎉
Vielen Dank an .bob, für die Einladung und die Organisation der diesjährigen Radio BOB Awards! Es war wie immer ein großartiger Abend voller wunderbarer Begegnungen, spannender Gespräche und bester Stimmung.

Ein großes Lob geht an das gesamte Team von – und an Jan-Henrik Schmelter und Martin Hülsmann, die beiden Geschäftsführer, die mit toller Unterstützung ihrer Kollegen so charmant und souverän durch die Veranstaltung geführt haben.

In diesem Jahr ging die besondere Ehre des Radio BOB Awards an – eine Band, die das Metal-Genre nachhaltig geprägt und den deutschen Heavy Metal entscheidend mitgestaltet hat. Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu unglaublichen 50 Jahren Bandgeschichte und zur verdienten Auszeichnung für das Lebenswerk!

Fßr die musikalische Begleitung sorgte der Rocksänger, Gitarrist und Songwriter , der dem Abend den passenden Soundtrack verlieh.

Und wie man unserem CEO ansehen kann: Es ist ihm jedes Mal wieder eine große Freude, Henry von wiederzusehen!
