We are urgently appealing for help to purchase a new van in order to continue vital animal rescue work. The loss of our van has left us heartbroken and has severely crippled our rescue efforts.

We have actively been running sterilisation programs, Rabies campaigns, Outreach days, feeding schemes and emergency call outs on top of everyday rescue work and it has all come to a stop without our doggie van.

Since the start of the COVID pandemic there has been a significant rise in emergency cases and the demand for our services rises day by day which leaves us desperate to get a new reliable van so we can get back on the road again.

Please help us to continue helping animals by donating whatever you can OR by taking part in our R500 challenge for the new Sables Creatures Doggie Van.

Together we can make this happen- a little help goes a long way in saving lives.

Have you started your systematic desensitization programme for the firework season that is coming up??

Quick reminder:

1. Do NOT ignore your dog when they are trembling in fear - fear is an EMOTION not a behaviour.

2. If you know your dog is terrified of fireworks, don't wait until the day before to try help them, ACT NOW.

3. Call Durban North Veterinary Clinic and chat to Dr Thom to assist with administering some medication.

4. Call Malcolm at BVSBM should you feel you need a specialist vet.

5. Give me a call should you require some training.
