We are looking for a PR Account Manager with 5+ years of experience (as an Account Manager) who is ambitious and eager to join our communications agency, and work on global and local brands. Must be able to manage clients with a degree of independence, have strong media relations, and have excellent knowledge and understanding of the media and influencer landscape.

We are a small, agile agency, so the ideal candidate is a resourceful all-rounder who can take initiative, and take complete ownership of their work, delivering to the highest standards. Excellent client-relations, writing and communication skills are a must.

We are thankful for having had the opportunity to work with Andy. Someone from whom we learnt so much.

This is a loss that perhaps will never be quantified.
May his soul rest in peace.

The ACA mourns the loss of a true industry doyen, while simultaneously celebrating the enduring legacy he leaves behind.

As the admired Jury Chair for over a decade on the ACA's APEX Awards, now Effie South Africa, Andy's commitment to excellence was pivotal in elevating the recognition of creativity and effectiveness in marketing campaigns.

His "AdFeature with Andy Rice" and "But Does It Work?" radio inserts made him a beloved figure both within the industry and to a broader audience.

Achieving the milestone of being the first South African on the Creative Effectiveness judging panel at Cannes Lions, underscored Andy's global impact and strategic acumen. His AdFocus Lifetime Achievement Award stands as a testament to his unparalleled dedication.

The ACA extends heartfelt condolences to Andy's wife Bev, family, friends, and colleagues. Andy Rice's impactful contributions and enduring dedication will be remembered and celebrated, marking an indelible legacy.

May he rest in peace.
