Our rich history started when George Constable came to Boksburg in around 1895, and worked in partnership with Matthew Lockhead, who printed a local newspaper, the "Boksburg Herald." George Constable then set up his own printing plant, and started publish

ing weekly newspapers the "East Rand Express." Geo Constable Printers are one of the oldest printing companies in South Africa and we're still going strong.

We are looking for Junior Graphic Designer & Mid-level Graphic Designer CV's for FUTURE positions.

Reporting to the Manager, the position requires individuals to be able to create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software.
You will develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing mock-ups and presenting to clients before deciding on a final design/concept
• Editing proofs to client’s specifications and getting sign off/approval before finalizing artwork
• Working and collaborating with art directors, sales reps and other designers
• Adapting and rolling out approved concepts to various media.
• Adhering to a client’s brand identity and guidelines
• Communicating with internal about progress of projects and any issues that may arise
• Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent to press and production
• Work on multiple briefs at the same time
• Working knowledge of litho & digital printing
• Printing final project
• Feeding printer of media

Requirements

• Relevant Graphic Design qualification
• Must work with Corel Draw, Adobe suite
• Social Media design experience will be an advantage*
• Knowledge of printing will be an advantage*
• Signage, shop branding & vehicle branding will be an advantage*
• Wordpress will be an advantage*
