I digress a lot but allow me to move on. Salvation begins with the knowledge of Christ for which Paul says I'll exchange anything for that privilege. But how deep must be this knowledge?? I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live yet not I but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Paul in Phil 3:8 wants us to follow his example. Hear the way he ✍. He uses present tense... I am counting all things as refuse. It's a continuous act. It's something he does on a continuing basis. But even more is his desire to share in the righteousness of God. V8 For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as refuse that I may gain Christ, and be found in him, *not having a righteousness of my own, based on law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith.*
