We offer an UNCAPPED, UNSHAPED, UNTHROTTLED Fibre experience with a NO FAIR USAGE POLICY. Our affiliation with a big Internet Service Provider has given as a strong backing to aid paying customers receiving inadequate service. Consumers aren’t always familiar with these terms but we’re happy to share what this means. Scroll down to understand what these terms mean and how they could work in your f
avour. So what is Uncapped, Unshaped, Unthrottled Fibre with a No Fair Usage Policy? So many fibre consumers find these terms to be foreign when it comes fibre connectivity. Many of us know what Uncapped WiFi is but who knows what Shaping, Throttling or a Fair Usage Policy is? Fortunately, you don’t have to worry because we’re happy to educate you on this. Uncapped
When your fibre package is capped, it means that a limit is set to the amount of data you are able to use, more typically for a month than another period of time. This predetermined amount of data will serve as the ‘cap’ on your data plan and once you make use of all of the data before your month has ended, your fibre usage will either be cut or you will incur additional costs. When using an uncapped data plan, you’re likely to pay more but you’ll have the opportunity to use an unlimited amount of data without the possibility of your connectivity being cut or you having to pay extra. This is perfect for anybody that uses the internet extensively, perfect for their budget and data usage needs. We only offer uncapped fibre packages. Unshaped
Shaping is relative to a hierarchy in your connectivity, where activity online is prioritised particularly when the network is busy. This means that protocols like your conference calls and meetings online will be given priority over heavier protocols, such as downloading and streaming, and as a result will be provided uninterrupted connectivity while your heavy protocols will end up with compromised connectivity. In essence, your line speed will be reduced but not by a significant amount. If you need high-speed and uninterrupted internet across all platforms however, it is best to opt for an unshaped package which is the only type of packages we offer. Unthrottled
Throttling, similar to shaping, impacts your connectivity negatively but rather than with certain protocols, it happens during peak hours. This means you will experience slower internet when the network is saturated, like during peak hours when there are many consumers on the network. All of our offerings are unthrottled data plans, giving you the fast and uninterrupted internet. No Fair Usage Policy
With a Fair Usage Policy, you’ll find yourself experiencing slower speeds toward the end of the month, after having used a data beyond a certain threshold. This means that you fibre line speed with drop resulting in you only being able to access a certain amount of data per second. We offer a NO FAIR USAGE POLICY on all of our packages.
