Join us in the fight against wildfires.🧯👩‍🚒

The Western Cape has seen a concerning increase in wildfires, many of which are caused by preventable human activity.

This month, we’ve partnered with the incredible , an NPO committed to protecting our environment and educating the public on how everyday actions can contribute to wildfires. Highlighting common causes, from unattended braais and poorly extinguished campfires, to discarded cigarette butts, glass left in a veld, hot vehicle parts in dry vegetation, and even children playing with fire out of curiosity.

We have learnt that small actions could have major consequences. Make your mark and make it count!

1. Keep an eye out for the Volunteer Wildfire Services campaign across our Vovo Telo screen, External Totem network, and Amphitheatre Entrance Digitals, at the V&A Waterfront.
