Hi, I’m Carmen - the Founder of Uproot Social 👋
It feels surreal to introduce myself on the page because this business has been something I’ve spoken about and wanted to start for a long time!
Uproot Social is an Instagram and TikTok Marketing Agency that focuses on content creation, strategy development and social media management. I noticed a gap where businesses were struggling to keep up with all the platform changes, not implementing key components and platforms into their strategies, and not getting the guidance and direction needed to pivot with the changes - and I wanted to close that gap. 💫
Here are a few bullet points to help you get to know me a bit more:
👩🏼🎓 I’m a few months away from finishing my BA in Communication Science.
💡 I found my passion for marketing by accident. I never knew exactly what I wanted to do, but I always knew it would involve business and people in some way. (In hindsight it should have made sense though because of my love for business, people and being creative)
⚡️ I have a TikTok reference for pretty much anything and everything.
📸 I am constantly taking pictures and videos.
✨ 3 bonus fun facts: My favourite flower is a sunflower, I dream of travelling the world, and I’m obsessed with anything mint.
