Every day I’m learning something new about macro photography, and I’m starting to love these tiny little creatures. It’s incredible seeing all the detail you never notice with the naked eye. I put my arts and crafts skills to the test over the weekend and built myself a homemade macro flash diffuser. I honestly didn’t expect it to make such a big difference. This photo was taken late last night, in complete darkness, and I’m blown away by how beautifully the diffuser lit up the scene.

I’m not into black metal or Swedish black metal to be more specific but it’s still fun watching a few guys dressing up scary AF and screaming into your earholes.

That one time I got on a bus to go Joburg because someone decided it’s a good idea to bring down 14 international bands and have a metal festival in the heart of Hillbrow. Went up mainly for Alestorm but it was a killer line up and couldn’t miss it. Cannibal Co**se was one of the headliners at Witch fest.
