I’ve spent the last decade watching what makes people lean in, and what makes them scroll past.

I’m Cindy. I run Allied Ellipses, a storytelling-led agency here in Cape Town. The short version: I help brands say the thing they actually mean, in a way that sounds like a human and not a press release. 🤭

The longer version is in the work. Nestlé, L’Oréal, Jägermeister, Skyy, Avon, Nedbank, Momentum Metropolitan, Engen, UJET, Rhodes Food, Woolworths... Different brands, same job every time: find the truth in there somewhere, then build something around it people want to watch, share, and trust.

What I’ve learned along the way: taste beats trend, every time. A big following means nothing if nobody believes you. And the brands that win are the ones brave enough to sound like themselves.

That’s part of what I’m striving for here.

Hey everyone! I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here, which is ironic given the services I offer. It’s always easier to preach than to practice, right?

A little-known fact about me is that I studied visual art at the National School of the Arts. I have a background in sculpting, photography, printmaking, drawing, and painting. Over the years, I’ve worked with various brands across engineering, fashion, and finance, gaining invaluable insights. However, I’ve shied away from creating art myself, even though I started my crown business, Royalty Crowns, in 2020, which reignited my passion for creativity.

This year, I made a deliberate effort to reconnect with my artistic side. I stumbled upon an incredible opportunity that allows me to merge my passions for marketing and art. I’ve been learning from amazing people while actively supporting their marketing and sales efforts.

Just a few weeks ago, I was able to aid in a sale for a brilliant piece by Solomon Omogboye which is now housed in my clients gorgeous home in Switzerland and I must say I’m a little jealous of the client for owning the piece.

However I must also say, It feels like a full-circle moment, and I’m excited to share this offering of advisory services tailored to collectors and aspiring collectors.
