Large Format Installer Position available at exciting printing company based in Cape Town – Catch Media Print Specialists

We are hiring a full-time graphics installer, offering competitive pay plus overtime. The role involves installing various graphics, collaborating with internal production teams and travelling to client sites.

Requirements include the following:

3+ Years experience and be proficient in Vinyl & Wallpaper application
Fabrication experience advantageous (Perspex / Wood / Metal)
Read and interpret design layouts and installation instructions
Ensure high quality installations with precision and durability
Knowledge of proper surface preparation, adhesive types, and installation techniques
Good work ethic
Clean and presentable
Be able to communicate clearly
Must have great attention to detail and problem solving skills
Drivers licence and own transport preferable

We’re Hiring: DTP Operator – Digital Print Environment

We’re looking for an experienced DTP Operator to join our fast-paced and dynamic team in the digital printing industry. If you thrive in a detail-oriented environment and have a strong understanding of print production, we’d love to hear from you.

Role Overview:
As a DTP Operator, you will be responsible for preparing client-supplied digital artwork for print. This includes formatting files for various printing processes and ensuring they are fully print-ready and optimized for production.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and format artwork for digital printing
• Ensure files are correctly set up for production (including impositions and cutting paths)
• Manage colour profiles and ensure consistency across jobs
• Transmit print-ready files to appropriate print devices
• Interpret and execute instructions from job tickets
• Collaborate with production and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow

Software Proficiency:
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Adobe Acrobat Professional (Enfocus Pitstop knowledge is a strong advantage)

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DTP or prepress role
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and related print software
• Familiarity with setting up files for CNC, laser, and multi-tool cutting tables
• Understanding of colour management and print production standards
• Experience with box construction, POS displays, or signage is a bonus
• Excellent communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• PC-based workflow experience
