Hey facebookers,
It's come to a point with my new position at Seed Experiences that I will only be accepting select projects in my personal capacity. Freelance has been one helluva ride, hard work and self discovery as a designer. The whole process has equipped me with more than just design skills and it's thanks to you, the client, that I was able to do this for the last 7 odd years! We're still working away at night on your projects. Things have slowed down a bit , but slowly making progress on streamlining the new work flow.

Here's some flyer art done in colab with Kaeli Justus. She helped out with the skeleton and I progressed the design .

As a designer , it's always hard to hold back and let the medium speak, this is a case where that turned out great.

An open letter from Luke:

The past 8 years has been an incredible journey building Design by Luke.
In this time, I have produced work for over 40 clients around South Africa and even a handful abroad. It has allowed me to hone my craft as a visual communication artist .

It’s with a heavy , excited heart that I announce some new developments:
I’ve had to make a tough decision recently: I have been offered a really great 9-5. It’s right in-line with my passion for music and visual communication and will further my design career too.

This means over the next couple months , I will be working after hours on freelance work for my personal clients.
I have 2 multi-talented Freelancers ready to accept work too should the need arise.

I really appreciate your understanding over these next three months. Work might not be as quick , but I’ll surely find a way to make it happen!

Starting from the 13th August, I will be able to respond to all emails from 6pm onward. I will do my best to keep you up to date during this transition phase.

Thanks for all the support , and allowing me to work on your big ideas and brands!

The power of marketing yourself online , coupled with a strong business stationary is super powerful! You may assume "What am I doing spending all this money on a website, Facebook posts, energy on writing posts...etc" But one thing leads to another . Plant the seed , and let it grow. Keep at it, and reap the rewards down the line.
