She has built Formark Marketing into a small and effective, well established business specialising in sales and marketing in the Western Cape, with associates nationally and in Namibia. Formark Marketing has recently expanded with two of their principals, Legend Housewares and Clover Leaf Candles into supplying products into the Indian Ocean Islands of Seychelles and Mauritius. Having over the years built a relationship of trust with head office buyers and individual store management, our service goes beyond. We are continuously on the lookout for new customers for our principals. We strive to maintain good relations with floor staff and provide product training on an on-going basis. This ensures a positive, confident interaction between floor staff and customers. This ‘in-store approach’ we believe to be an important aspect of our sales success. In order to maximize sales, our sales team of four continuously endeavors to obtain the best possible positions on the retailer’s shelves. We are alert to opportunities to negotiate premium shelving positions such as gondola ends, islands and drive aisles. We make sure that displays in promotional courts are of the highest standards. We arrange promotional opportunities and spacing and provide in-store promoters where required. A calling cycle is conducted religiously to all stores to check and ensure that all listed products are continuously stocked, replenished and that product pricing is optimally displayed. We ensure service departments are continuously aware of the different ‘returns policy’ for each of our Principals. Our three major principals, each with over twenty year’s representation are: Fellowes Beswick (stationery and office equipment), Clover Leaf Candles, Legend Housewares (kitchen and cookware). Our most recent principal is Bechini we are proud to have them onboard.
