Architecture is not static. It lives, evolves, and shapes the rhythms of everyday life. For these interior cinemagraphs from The Botanist, the goal was simple: to capture the subtle movements that make a space feel alive. Light shifts throughout the day. Curtains responding to a passing breeze. Atmospheres changing from one moment to the next. These details transform visualisations from images into experiences, helping people connect with spaces long before they are built. Capturing moments of stillness, movement, and everyday life within places that exist only in imagination is a challenge we never tire of pursuing.

Archviz is not only about buildings. It’s about creating a memory of something that still didn’t happen. This was our approach for this cinemagraph from The Botanist, a glimpse onto the future of this development. A timelapse of a day with the cars passing, people coming and going and life simply happening, without interruptions.

Set lightly within the landscape, the structure opens itself to the rhythm of its surroundings, light shifting through the trees, air moving freely, sky always present. The layered rooflines echo the canopy above, while natural materials anchor the space in warmth and tactility. At ground level, the glow of a central fire creates a quiet point of connection, somewhere to gather, to pause, to linger a little longer than intended.

Thitaka Lodge, where there is a balance here between openness and intimacy, where each element feels considered but never overstated. It’s less about spectacle and more about atmosphere, something you ease into, and carry with you long after you leave.

Thitaka Lodge was envisioned as an experience suspended between wilderness and refinement where canvas, timber, firelight, and open air dissolve the boundary between architecture and nature. A place where mornings begin slowly, filtered through soft fabric and golden light, and evenings settle into stillness beneath expansive African skies. Every space was designed to feel intentional yet effortless. Private, without isolation. Luxurious, without excess. Rooted in the landscape rather than imposed of it. Our visuals were crafted to capture more than a destination. They were created to evoke atmosphere, memory, and the emotions of arriving somewhere that immediately changes your pace. It’s what you feel while you’re there.

Quiet mornings, with soft materials and the light moving through the space together with its visitors, that´s a Thitaka Lodge´s visitor´s day. Privacy doesn’t mean separation: it means experiencing the landscape on your own terms. A place to slow down and emerse yourself in nature.

Throwing it back to Mama Shelter Residences, Cape Town this Thursday ✨

Where every frame was crafted to feel lived in, not just seen. From the warmth of the interiors to the play of light and texture, this project was all about bringing atmosphere to life, turning vision into a cinematic experience you can almost step into.

A reminder that great design isn’t just built… It’s felt.

Life at the lodge moves with its own rhythm. Its shared moments are experienced in its open spaces and the view plays a big factor on the experience. A connection between people, place and the memorable experience of being in the wild, Thitaka Lodge is a place that provides you all that. And more.

We had the privilege of working on Thitaka Lodge, capturing the essence of the wild and the quiet beauty of nature. With evenings under open skies and mornings wrapped in stillness, Thitaka is a place that invites you to slow down, stay a little longer, and take it all in. To observe nature and absorb its essence. Here are a few of the shots we created with that feeling in mind.

More to come.

There’s a certain kind of silence that only exists in sunlit spaces.

A home being shaped by light, with natural tones, layered greens, and open transitions between inside and out, creating a rhythm that feels both calm and alive, luxurious and stylistic.A place where time slows down, and shadows stretch gently across the floor, with every material feeling warmer to the touch. This was our approach with the Sunkiss project. Here are some of the images we developed for this project.
