Firstly, from all of us here at Minuteman Press, we sincerely hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented time in history. One day, the next generation will not only learn about the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 in history class, but they will also learn about the great recovery that followed. The only way that we in CAPE TOWN are going to help write that recovery chapter is by uniting as a community and helping all of our neighbours.

At Minuteman Press, we are doing our part to author South Africa’s recovery story by running the Bounce Back South Africa initiative. Bounce Back South Africa was created by Minuteman Press to offer two free services to help support all of our neighbouring businesses as we find a way to work together through these trying times. First, we are distributing COVID-19 awareness and prevention posters at no charge to any business in our service area. Second, we are providing free local advertising on our site (https://bouncebacksouthafrica.minuteman.com/locations/western-cape/cape-town/) to stimulate business and help all of our neighbours overcome the tremendous economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We truly believe that a rising tide will lift all ships, and we want to make sure our communities stay afloat.

ESSENTIAL SERVICES (Covid-19)

We have obtained “Essential Services” status as supplier of printing as per Point A1 (iii), Point A2 (iii), and Point A3 (ii) for Chemicals, packaging and ancillary products used in the production of any Food, Cleaning and Hygiene, and Medical Products of Annexure B of Regulations 11A “Categorisation of Essential Goods and Services During Lockdown”).

We will offer a limited production service to those customers (only) who have been granted Essential Services status during the National Shutdown and will require a valid CIPC Essential Service certificate from each customer.

We will process your order, provide an electronic proof, and process the required paper and stock for the order. Please contact [email protected] with any questions or to arrange for your printing to go into production and be completed.

Upon acceptance of the quotation, please email your order confirmation to [email protected]
We will process the order and confirm if the order can be completed. Once payment confirmation is received we will email an electronic proof for your sign-off.

Once the proof has been signed off we will order the required paper and stock and go into production and notify you as soon as the printing is completed.

We are attending to all emailed enquiries and quotation requests. We will also process orders, provide electronic proofs, and process the required paper and stock for the order. Non-essential orders will be fulfilled once we re-open. We will continue to offer a limited production service to those customers (only) who have been granted Essential Services status.

We will process the order once the payment confirmation is received unless you are setup on account and email the electronic proof.

Once the proof has been signed off we will order the required paper and stock and get everything ready to go into production once we re-open.

It was great to be working on a project again with premier event organisers Venturescapes. For this event, we printed nearly 40m of stitched PVC banners in record time.

The quality from our HP Latex 570 wide format printer was great. Along with this are all the ancillary event print and signage requirements like name badges with lanyards, place name cards, menus, tickets etc.

The basic guide to different colour profiles:
Photos and most of the images of the internet is set up in RGB. When we print those images the printer digitally converts them to CMYK in order to print and the colours will look slightly different.
