Duties & Responsibilities

- Compilation of financial statements
- Monthly financial reporting and management accounts
- Ensure that all invoices are processed before finalising month end and have been allocated correctly
- Cash flow forecasting
- Budget forecasting
- Managing the budget
- Annual Audit
- Ensuring all month end journals are processed (trade exchange, operating lease, leave provision)
- Ensure that all company taxes are submitted
- Preparation and timely submission of VAT returns and EMP201
- Ensure that all bi-annual EMP 501 are submitted
- Ensure Payroll is processed timeously and Payroll JNL processed
- Ensure that infoslips are issued timeously
- Ensure that fixed asset register is updated and depreciation journals are processed
- Liaise with Insurers

- Submit employees Pension Fund monthly – Add and Exit members from Fund
- Month end and year end checks
- Monthly accounting work and ad hoc duties

Job Description: Coronation Asset Management is looking for an experienced Office Manager to take
responsibility for facilities management (building infrastructure and services), “front
of house” services and staff restaurant management at our Head Office in Claremont,
Cape Town.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, this role is a fantastic opportunity
for an energetic, motivated and people driven office professional to own the role by
ensuring the smooth running of our facilities, ensuring that guests have a great
experience while also contributing towards efficiencies.
Our building has a number of amenities enjoyed by staff which may entail liaising
with other tenants and vendors. Suitable experience would include, but is not limited
to managing the facilities of a large corporate office or a medium to large sized hotel
or conferencing facility. The ideal candidate should also possess strong organisational
and vendor/supplier management skills, some technical facilities management
ability, be able to prioritise effectively and perform optimally under pressure.
Main duties and
responsibilities:
> Ensure our offices are in pristine condition at all times
> Manage the relationship and service level agreement with our landlord
> Manage Coronation’s reception including security
> Coordinate the appropriate allocation of meeting rooms
> Coordinate with internal (e.g. Information Technology, Talent Management
(HR)) and external parties to implement changes required by periodic
building renovations including the re-allocation of desk space for staff
> Coordinate the allocation of parking bays to staff and guests

Job description
Part of the Asset Manager team that produces and analyses critical management information for the Group as well as performing statutory accounting functions.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
Maintaining monthly financial records of the subsidiary as well as preparation of management accounts.
Compilation of Annual Financial Statements and quarterly board packs as well as supporting the larger consolidated submissions for the group
Liaising with auditors for completion of the above-mentioned financial statements as well as the Financial Statements of:
 Unit Trusts

 Hedge Funds
Tax and regulatory submissions for the subsidiary including the following critical tasks:
 Timeous submission of annual and quarterly returns to FSB (Solvency Asset Management) for the subsidiary.

 Quarterly submission of SARB return for the subsidiary.

 Bi-Annual submission of the ASISA Life Stats

 Completion and submission of the Group Own Risk Solvency Assessment (ORSA) report to the FSB which requires input from Risk and Compliance department, Statutory Actuaries as well as Directors of the board.

 Completion of the required SARS submissions for the subsidiary along with Dividend Withholding Tax submissions for Unit Trusts and Hedge Funds.
Compile data for Coronation Fund Managers BEE compliance
