I feel like every client is a teacher to me at some stage. During the creation of this, Carrie said to me she’s “learnt when to be still, and when to move”. I’ve loved feeling into that for myself. Each a sacred practice. Each bringing healing and awareness. Thank you Carrie for letting me create for you 🙏

I have been deep in land, creating her new logo and her new website (I’ll share that soon!). And it’s been a dance. We’ve both had a chance to be the lead, and that’s the way I like it. What has arrived is a reflection of her. Layered, earthy, dynamic, fluid, not easily explained in a neat little bow. But something that exists outside of the neat little box and bow. After what has been a wild year, this project has helped ground me back into my practices, design wise, and spirit wise. I’m excited to see what is next, for both of us.

With love

I’m currently trying to squirrel a little time here and a little time there to get a new website up. It’s been a slow process. But, I came across these. Oldies but goodies! I created these for a gallery grid for ‘s website many years ago. But I love them and wanted to share! Swipe all the way to the end to see how they fit together!

I've been wanting to share my latest brand collab with Adrianna Zaccardi] for a while now. It was such a goody. Powerful and raw and intuitive and healing. Pretty much like Adrianna herself ;) Working with this woman and this brand felt so easy. It was a slow cooked one, a juicey kind of marinating slow, teasing out the detail and the essence of her wonderfully rich work. This slowness was needed, but was also oh so challenging for my 'need to plan-ness'.

The process of creating the logo was as important as the end result. I created dozens and dozens of ink and watercolour marks, spent time getting sucked into paint and water dancing into each other and sloooowly revealing the mark on the page. This I repeated and repeated, welcoming in the process, and inviting in chance. My sense from the start was that Adrianna's work is deeply rooted in honouring the process rather than being goal focused. And as we worked together I really saw this to be true. Together we allowed the unfurling of the logo to happen.

Even though all this focus on the process may not be overt if you look at the logo, on some level it will be felt. In the bleeding away of the hard edges of the letter, in the softness of the layers and layers of paint. I'm so proud of this logo, and I hope she serves you Adrianna Zaccardi].
