The "Less is More" Approach (2012 Archive) 🎞️
14 years ago, the standard for event branding was "busy" the more artists on the flyer, the better. For this O Summer Mayhem event featurinf AKA , we took a calculated risk by breaking that mold.
Instead of a cluttered collage of the entire lineup, we opted for a single, high-impact portrait of the main artist. By focusing on a single focal point, we commanded attention into a definitive piece of artist branding.
Even the color palette was intentional. While the "Gold & Black" trend of the 2010s was often loud and metallic, we softened the gold to a subtle, sophisticated hue to maintain a premium feel that aligned with the FashionTV brand too.
This piece is a reminder that while tools and platforms change, intentional design is timeless.
