Vacancy: Construction Site Manager – Somerset West
Our client, a reputable building and renovations company based in Somerset West, is seeking a hands-on, experienced Construction Site Manager to join their growing team.
This role requires someone who can take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of residential and light commercial renovation sites, from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage all on-site activities, subcontractors, and timelines
✅ Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification
✅ Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project team
✅ Coordinate deliveries and manage site materials
✅ Maintain a safe and tidy site and enforce safety protocols
✅ Perform quality control and ensure all work meets building standards
✅ Report progress and issues to management regularly
Minimum Requirements:
📋 Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar construction site management role
📋 Proven track record managing residential or renovation projects
📋 Solid understanding of building methods, trades, and local building regulations
📋 Valid driver’s license (PDP is an advantage)
📋 Able to interpret building plans and technical drawings
📋 Strong communication and leadership skills
📋 Physically fit, reliable, and highly organised
Location: Somerset West
Working Hours: Full-time

Salary: Market-related, depending on experience
