With a background deeply rooted in precise spatial design, architectural thinking, and digital innovation, Avelile founded Mayhem Digital with a clear mission: to build a creative agency that doesn't just deliver beautiful design, but crafts intentional, high-impact digital solutions.

When we say , we aren’t just talking about the faces behind the work; we’re talking about the pillars who built the foundation. Today, we’re celebrating Kia Hendricks, our masterful Graphic Designer who has been an integral part of the Mayhem Digital DNA for 6 years.

Kia is a true multi-hyphenate creative. Over the last six years, she has brought an incredible mix of strategy, high-fidelity design, and ex*****on to our biggest projects, leveraging her deep expertise across:

- Branding, Digital Design, & Packaging

- Motion Graphics (backed by her qualification from the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business)

- Professional Photography & a B.A. in Visual Arts (Visual Communication Design)

Never standing still: What makes Kia so vital to our team is her relentless drive to evolve. Even with six years of agency success under her belt, she’s currently upskilling in AI integration and data visualisation to keep pushing our creative boundaries. And when she clocks out? The creativity keeps flowing through her personal drawing and painting.

Olwethu joined us with a fresh degree from the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, starting his journey as a Junior Graphic Designer. His sharp eye for design quickly translated into web design, where he helped shape our digital experiences.

Behind every successful project at Mayhem Digital is a team member who goes above and beyond. Today, we’re kicking off our series with someone who has truly grown with us over the last two years: Olwethu Makhonco.

Olwethu joined us fresh from the Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, starting his journey as a Junior Graphic Designer. His sharp eye for design quickly translated into web design, where he helped shape our digital experiences.

Fast forward to today, and Olwethu has stepped into a pivotal role as our Executive Assistant, working closely alongside our founder, Avelile Nontanda. Whether he’s managing high-level coordination or ensuring our creative workflows run seamlessly, Olwethu is truly the glue that holds everything together at Mayhem Digital.
