Petra Vonk Design Petra Vonk Design is an Implementation and Production Studio in Cape Town. We specialise in Exhibition Design, Events, Rooftop Venue Hire.

Prior to launching in 2008, Head Creative, Petra Vonk worked for one of the Top 100 companies in the world. Surrounded by leaders with great vision and passion for the brands they worked with, equipped her with specified in-depth knowledge and understanding of everything brand-driven. With design being her first love, Petra identified a gap in the market for skilled agencies who could utilise a br

ands heritage and tell their story effectively through design. With a bit of motivation and the acquisition of property to house operations, Petra Vonk Design was founded and the PVD Team soon followed. PVD has a unique talent for creating inspiring below the line brand spaces by means of thorough research of materials, textures, shapes and styles that marry with your brand language and speak volumes to your chosen stakeholders.

I have been obsessively dreaming about this photoshoot. I wanted to capture in real time the reflections of the colourfilm when fixed to my car lights and whilst it is pouring with rain and still dark outside. The most exciting part was doing it in the rain.

Do hold a grudge "that is sticky like fudge"? A current Art piece I am working on, mixed media, oozing with thick layers of paint created on a "satellite dish. If you find the "sweet spot" to stand in front of , it creates this amazing echo when you speak. I added reading glasses that belonged to my dad that passed away during COVID, it allows you to look at the painting through a "magnifying lens" enhancing the visual experience. Do you see what I see? Some poetry ti bring it all together! Enjoy!
