We are really excited to announce the appointment of Michelle Kruger to the position of Managing Director at Wicked Pixels.

You all know Michelle as the best animation and post producer that you have worked with, but what you might not know is that she holds two Bachelor degrees and a Masters degree; BCompt, LLB and LLM (Intellectual Property Law). Her thesis for her masters degree in IP law was specific to our industry: 'Copyright ownership of animation and visual effects works in the advertising and broadcast industries.'

After a number of years producing live action for various top production companies, Michelle joined Wicked Pixels five years ago as our Executive Producer in Johannesburg. Year after year, we have been ranked the Number One animation studio in South Africa (Official Loerie Award Ranking), which is largely due to her excellent management of our team of crazy artists who constantly push the envelope. She will continue to head up production at Wicked, in a joint role as MD and EP.

Wicked is 100% committed to the industry and that our company maintains its Number One status year on year. We are ideally positioned to continue to excel in all forms of digital content across all media, across all continents, so for all future business and financial related discussions or queries of any nature, please liaise directly with Michelle. Animation allows for a quicker turnaround time and is a cost effective way to produce advertisements, especially in times like these. Here’s one of the great projects we worked on during lockdown, we met all deadlines and produced 4 great ads for Standard Bank. We also want to mention that this was achieved while our entire team works remotely.
