Which direction should I go? What option would you vote for?

Ps. I’m trusting that this piece in the end will really speak to someone’s heart, but firstly I’m enjoying the process of letting it talk to mine. Before this is an art piece, it’s firstly an act of worship.

That said, in terms of skill / the “feeling” / the idea you get when you look at this piece, I’m still needing some advice so that I can figure out how to draw torn sheer fabric which is really hard to do😅 I’m not aiming for realism, but it must convey the concept and still look pretty 😆

Puno is a woman of wonder and her words unlock something inside of those who listen.

She shared a beautiful testimony on her profile this morning and I was reminded when she gave me the permission and honor to paint her picture for one of my projects. I sent her this painting as a thank you gift in return.

The Voice Collective presents
Inner Eden Art Exhibition in partnership with
Garden Town Stellenbosch

We will be in the Stellenbosch Town Hall
1-3 November 10am-5pm
4-5 November 10am-2pm

The artists have created pieces around the theme, Inner Eden with the colour inspiration being, Magenta for this year.

Over the next couple of days we will introduce you to the artists that’s going to take part in the exhibition. We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Children’s book illustrations are such fun! This one I explored how illustrated typography and movement could tell the story of the little girl I looked after while aupairing in Italy.
It was a farewell gift to her and her family - written by me, illustrated by me and hand bound by me!! Let’s just say I had no idea how much work I was getting myself into and the hardest part was keeping it a surprise!

For this wedding, Monique-mari Britz wanted bold and elegant florals and the colour theme of her wedding ceremony to be white and the reception to be black. The result was absolutely gorgeous with dramatic floral photography setting off the contemporary fonts on all the designs.
