HOW WE PRESENT OUR WORK‼️

1.Stop dumping images. Tell a story.
Bad presentation:
Logo.png
Poster.jpg
Flyer2-final-final.png
Professional presentation:
What was the problem?
Who was the audience?
What was the strategy?
Why were these colors/fonts/layouts chosen?
What result did the design try to achieve?
Example:
“This poster was designed for a nightclub targeting people aged 21–30.
I used high-contrast typography and neon accents to create urgency and nightlife energy.”
That instantly sounds more professional than:
“Here’s my poster.”
2. Build a portfolio, not a folder
A portfolio is curated.
A folder is clutter.
You do NOT need 100 mediocre designs.
You need:
5–10 strong projects
Clean presentation
Consistency
Good explanations
Weak designers think quantity impresses people.
Clients care about:
Can you solve problems?
Can you make things look premium?
Can you communicate clearly?
3. Show the process, not only the final result
Clients love seeing thinking.
Include:
Sketches
Color palette choices
Typography exploration
Before vs after
Draft evolution
This makes you look strategic instead of “someone who just uses Canva.”
Even if you use Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or Illustrator — presentation separates amateurs from professionals.
4. Use mockups properly
Mockups make designs feel real.
Examples:
Logo on a storefront
Hoodie branding
Business card on a desk
Menu design in a restaurant setting
Social media post on a phone screen
This helps clients visualize value.
But here's the mistake: Cheap mockups + poor lighting + overused templates = fake-looking work.
Use clean, minimal mockups.
5. Organize projects like case studies
A strong project layout:
Project Title
“Luxury Streetwear Brand Identity”
Objective
Create a minimalist premium identity for a youth luxury clothing brand.
Target Audience
18–30 urban fashion consumers.
Design Decisions
Black/white palette for timeless luxury
Bold typography for confidence
Arrow symbol representing forward movement
