I recently audited a new client's current website with our tool... oh boy.
It rated an 'F' in almost every category. And no, they didn't have a bad web designer initially, but the site had not been updated or managed in years.
Contrary to popular belief, you can't just have a site made and expect leads to come pouring in. You'll need to do 2 things; the first is to drive traffic to the website with a decent marketing strategy, and the second is focusing on the site itself.
Algorithm updates, problems indexing pages on Google Console, competitor movement... there is so much to think of to get and KEEP your brand right at the top of page 1 of Google.
And then there are new factors you'll need to think of like GEO and AEO to accompany your SEO.
Who has time for stuff like that when you're trying to run a business???
