Ideology is the culmination of over 50 years of cross-industry experience, founded by Paul Ingram, Marc Cousins and Thuli Sibeko in 2016 on the back of a need for fresh, creative and out-of-the-box, but more importantly, practically applicable and measurable marketing solutions. Paul’s background as a non-traditional marketer, owner of multiple previous companies in the industry, and a marketing strategy specialist, combined with Marc’s sponsorship, corporate and experiential marketing know-how, as well as their combined experience in events, product launches and activations with another industry heavyweight, Thuli Sibeko, owner of Anglo-African Events, a 100% black owned events company, which has operated since 2005 with over a decade of experience servicing all their client’s event management needs, meant we had the right people to make something completely new, different and exceptional.

Dina joined one of Paul’s companies in 2012 and has stuck with him ever since. Thanks to her legal background and experience, she took control over the finances and budget management for projects, and ensures the operational strength of the systems and processes for the group of companies.

Dina is an integral part of the Ideology team in ensuring that every process is in order to maximise the outcome of every project. Although she is very strong with numbers and processes, Dina also has a creative streak that shines during brainstorming sessions and inspires the team to think outside the box.

Meaghan Stapfelt, Event Assistant

Meaghan started her career in pay TV. The thrill of any production, exhibition and chasing deadlines is what she thrives on.

After being head-hunted she joined the Gautrain Project as an Office Coordinator where she was not only responsible for the daily running and monthly reporting of the Independent Certifiers office but also all events for the duration of the Project.

Whether she worked in Media or Engineering she always seemed to gravitate towards the eventing aspect of the business, so when the opportunity arose to join Ideology Agency and follow her calling, Meaghan jumped in with both feet and adds her amazing energy to and expertise to every project.

He is an entrepreneur by nature and creative marketer who lives for the work. Paul has over 2 decades of experience and that coupled with his creative innovative thinking, make him an invaluable part of the team.

His belief is that success doesn’t keep office hours and that opportunities are all around you, you just need to figure out how best to use them.

To say he is a bit of a car fan is the understatement of the century and we’re pretty sure he has petrol in his veins.
