They are ethnic group of people who lived in South eastern Zimbabwe In the district of Chipinge and Chimanwani in which they are natives. They are also found in Mozabique to Malawi.🐚🐚🐚

The name Ndau is derived from the people tradition salutation "Ndau Wee". They traded with Arabs with Mpalu, Njeti and Vukotlo. These are red and blue ccloured together with golden beads .
Ndau people traded traditional herbs, Spiritual powers, Animals skin and bones. 🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚What is mdawo Spirit?

A Gobela is chosen by his/her own ancestors,not all healers are Gobelas. Such a status is a continuation of past activities,where your gift giver was a Gobela,you should wait until they choose you for the role,it is not automatic

Gobela is a facilitator of initiation process,can not dictate against what initiate’s ancestors instructed.

I would like to take this opportunity and share my journey of ukuthwasa to beacame a sangoma.

Being a sangoma is not a simple journey to walk through and not even one sangoma was ready to go through this journey. Its something that came as a gift that need you to attend when its time. Ready or not you will walk through it. It took time for me to realize that im the chosen one but i struggled a lot because i didn't know that nginabantu abadala back then life was not in favor to me and i had these scary dreams, headache elingapholi ngibe nale feeling yokuthi ngathi ngingamemeza ngithanda ukuba 1 ngaso sonke iskhathi everything was just difficult for me without knowing that those were symptoms showing that i was called by ancestors. We may be called to be healers but our ancestors call us with a different approach. Today im the proudly sangoma because i didn't ask a permission from my parents or anyone to accept my calling i just took my decision because if you tell or ask permission from someone else they will try stop you to attend your calling without knowing how you feel about the process and the things that happen to you.

We are african let be proud of who we are.
