Small business owners, READ! 👇🏼

Starting a business is one of the bravest things to do, and definitely not easy on the pocket 💀 so initially, my answer would be: no, you don’t need social media management. Shocked right? A studio saying no.

BUT, there is a difference between not having the capital to outsource social media help versus not seeing the value of professional help. The reality is you’re busy running a whole damn business 🥵 you’re answering emails, returning phone calls, dealing with inconsistent suppliers + making sure your staff is happy. You don’t have time to take epic pics of this awesome business you’re slowly building up. You probably think those quick pics on your phone with the coffee cup that is so skew it looks like it’s climbing Mount Everest and then slapping a generic Instagram filter on looks cool but let’s be honest.. within the first 3.64 seconds you can tell whether a business takes their online presence seriously or not 👀😭

Now this was a project I was proud to be a part of 🇿🇦 — meet, MUZU.

Matt Binnington and I went back + fourth for weeks, review after review, trying to figure out what would best suit the vision for his new venture into the PREMIUM leather industry.

Our inspo: unique. simple. african. The word “MUZU” means Roots in Chichewa (Malawian). We wanted people to be inspired by everything African, our roots that run deep into this soil ☀️ and well if you ask me.. I think we smashed it out the park!

Let’s talk social media! ⚡️ there are more than 500 million daily active users on Instagram + about 2.8 billion daily active users on Facebook. That is a 💩 load of people.
What is your business or business you work for doing to tap into even a fraction of these figures? Are they doing enough on Instagram/Facebook to gain traction to their website or acquire new feet in stores? Does your business even have social media pages?!

Monday INSPO! ✨ what inspires me is seeing a well planned photo setting like this; it is thoughtful, subdued + tells us that not everything has to be ‘in your face’ to stand out.
