What's the secret to a successful production? We sat down with Bronywnne Naidoo our never-say-die-and-always-so-kind Producer at TNG.Productions and she laid down the law like this:
With years of experience in content production under our belts at TNG.Productions, it doesn't seem like the expectation and the appetite for these "digital consumables" will slow down. Especially with the introduction of AI into our process – if anything, the anticipation attached to hours, days and weeks is definitely intensifying.
But that determination to publish only translates into value when every part of the process keeps pace, even that of clients. In a delicate production process/environment, strict timelines must weigh the same for the agency team on the ground as they do on the client's side. And that makes close collaboration mandatory. You can't have two teams or even one-and-a-half teams; there must be one unified team for the all-important approvals to be achieved appropriately. For me, that means:
01: bringing the client along on the journey for the good, the bad and the ugly
02: educating clients on the specifics of the production process and their role within it
03: nothing less than honest, two-way and constructive communication at all times
Somehow, sharing the reality of the situation with the client tends to deepen the relationship and dare I say it: strangely, it makes the jobs easier somehow.
