Train number 1076 EMU number 156, leading coach (Cato Ridge side) lying on the side & second coach first bogie derailed other coaches are fine. Train number 6202 empty cement trucks, last wagon of the detached load on Cato Ridge side derailed, six wagons that were left behind three of those wagons derailed. The expected time of recovery completion is Sunday provided crane is on site within 24 hours thereafter the recovery of infrastructure will resume. Immediate cause of the accident is improper communication between the TFR TCO & TFR Signal Technician. Train 6202 intended route was to proceed on number 1 line but it ended up on number 2 lline. Train 1076 intended route was to proceed on number 2 line. Both trains were in motion when the incident happened.

• Children From 0 - 6 Years Old Travel For Free.

• School Children From 7 to 11 Years Buy Child Monthly or Weekly or Return or Single Ticket It Has 50% Discount Of An Adult Ticket As Long As They Are Wearing A School Uniform

MIDWAY TO JOHANNESBURG SERVICE

• PRASA Metrorail Teams Are Now At Midway Station Doing Trial Trips From Nancefield to Midway Station These Are Efforts to Extend The Nancefield Service Which Resumed On The 30 March & Now PRASA Wants To Extend The Service Up To Midway Station. A Resumption Date Will Be Given Once RSR Department Gives An Go Ahead.

• Other Metrorail Teams Are At Roodepoort Station Doing Line Inspection From Florida to Roodepoort These Are Also Efforts to Extend The Service From Florida Station to Roodepoort Station.

• The Katlehong Update : The Contractors Are Still Busy at Wadeville Until Lindela Repairing The Line. Further Updates Will Be Given Once All Is Completed About This Line.

• Passengers From Tembisa Have Access to Travel to Elsburg , Pretoria , Centurion , Soweto , Florida , Mabopane , Pienaarspoort , Saulsville & Garankuwa.

• As All These Lines Are Operational Any Resident Living In These Areas Has An Access to Move Around Township to another Township
