Commissioned by Fox Sports for their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign, this piece is my personal tribute to the heartbeat of South Africa. As a South African, I wanted to go beyond a simple illustration and capture the soul of our fans.

I centered the design on the Makarapa - a hand-crafted symbol of our soccer culture - alongside the iconic Vuvuzela and Bafana Bafana’s striking new away kit. In an era where digital automation is everywhere, I chose a different path: a meticulous, handmade process. I intentionally embraced a loose style with subtle imperfections, because that is who we are. We aren’t a polished, "perfect" people; we are vibrant, loud, and beautifully unique. This is a celebration of the human touch in a digital world.

If you’re looking for art that values the human touch over an algorithm, let’s talk. I specialize in creating meaningful, meticulously crafted illustrations that tell a story. Whether you're a brand, a fellow creator, or an agency in need of a fresh set of eyes, my door is open for new collaborations.

For the Greenhouse Scholars Summer Symposium, we explored the theme “Going Against the Grain” through two distinct illustrations—one of kayakers forging upstream, and another of a determined scholar burning the midnight oil. Together, they celebrate resilience, curiosity, and the courage to take the uncommon path.

NEW WORK!

A series of illustrations for Mother's Day, honoring moms as the original narrators. These were done for Audible, but ultimately they decided to go in a different direction. We still had a blast making them.

We partnered with The Hardy Boys and RCL Foods to craft branding and packaging for a sub-brand of Nola, one of South Africa’s leading mayonnaise brands. Our challenge was to design packaging that conveyed value, while ensuring strong shelf presence and a bold, street-inspired South African vibe. The result? Nola Mayo.
