Feathers women's network presents: UBUNTU CHARITY

Good morning everyone.

Sibusisiwe isandla esiphayo kunaleso esamukelayo.

Please donate clothing for the people in need. School uniforms for primary school children and high school, clothing and shoes for children and adults, blankets, toys, SANITARY PADS etc.

Please don't throw away clothes you don't need kindly help the needy.

Without using any random pictures, we believe and think this picture best describes that you can find women in every work sector, from business, to corporate sector, to house helpers, media, construction, mining, etc. In all these sectors and more, there is some form of gender based violence and abuse happening in silence.

It 16 days of activism and every time this time of the year comes, most people think about only women and children that are being beaten and r***d etc, but there truth is gender equality is also one of the form of abuse that women experience everyday, it a shame that in some companies you still find more men in management positions than women, not that women are not qualified and they can't perform the work but somehow those positions are pre-qualified for men and even women within those companies don't even bother to apply for those positions. This happens in business too and other sectors.

Let us stop gender based violence and abuse against women and children everywhere, whether physically, mentally or emotionally, within our families, work places and in business.

Women deserves to be treated with respect and they deserve to be given an equal chance like their Male counterparts.

As Feathers women's network Africa we say STOP VIOLENCE AND ABUSE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN EVERYWHERE ✋
