Background : The Whats Up East Coast has very humble beginnings, it was born in 2004 as a thought between two friends - Diane Pullen, and Louise Sheasby. Their goal was to support local business by creating a platform to broaden the awareness of what the East Coast Resorts, Wild Coast Jikeleza Route had to offer. What started as a home printed 4 page black and white flyer, grew into a 34 full colour print publication. Sadly, after the 2020 challenge the publication became online only, with the exception perhaps of the festive period - should there be enough interest and viability. Our social media presence has grown organically over the years, and together with our online Micro Mag we focus on promoting and creating awareness of local business along the East Coast Resorts, Wild Coast Jikeleza Route, Gonubie and in and around East London.
