As the curtain falls on the 10th edition of the Umtiza Arts Festival 2026, we want to express thanks.
To our funders, sponsors and partners - thank you for believing in the value of the arts and for investing in a festival that continues to inspire, entertain and bring people together.
To the artists, performers, exhibitors, presenters, workshop facilitators and all contributors to the programme - thank you for sharing your talent, passion and creativity with our audiences.
To the many staff members, volunteers, technicians, venue teams, service providers and behind-the-scenes supporters - thank you for your dedication, hard work and commitment. Your contribution formed the foundation upon which this festival was built.
And to the public - thank you for showing up, buying tickets, attending events, supporting artists and embracing the spirit of the festival. Your enthusiasm, encouragement and participation gave life and meaning to every performance, exhibition and experience.
The Umtiza Arts Festival has always been about bringing people together through the arts, and this year once again proved the incredible power of creativity to connect communities.
What a ride it has been. From opening night to the final curtain call it was a journey filled with creativity, connection, inspiration and unforgettable memories.
