Or are you missing the opportunity?

“40% of B2B Marketers
say LinkedIn drives high-quality leads.”

HubSpot said that it’s mainly because these marketers have the ability to target based on some demographic data.

Which tells me that there are plenty of LinkedIn-ers, who are not making use of that little search bar!

[or just hoping that clients will find you]

Day 008

Where you start,
Isn’t always where you end up.

I don’t know about you, but I always love a good before and after!

Whether it’s a home reno show on Netflix,
The “how to style your outfit” on Facebook
Or the guy who cuts grass on YouTube reels.

I love seeing a transformation.

So today I thought I’d give a sneaky look into how this project started, vs. how it ended up.

The client approached me to help with a subscription box design.

She had worked on concepts,
But the idea wasn’t formulating,
She knew she needed help.

We ended up changing the name (because of legal issues).

But it worked in her favour,
the result was way cuter 😜
Perfect for the little ones!

A new website for East Cape Solar

As part of their rebrand & “go to market” strategy… we needed to create a website that highlighted their main packages (in an approachable way). Giving just enough information to help it all make sense for the client!

Freshly baked…
With most of my clients being based in other cities [& countries]… it’s really fun when I get to hold my own designs in my hand!

This was a great example of how to communicate technical specs, in a easy relateable way…

Instead of “2.5kW 24Volt LiFeP04 Battery”… let’s rather talk about keeping the lights on, meat frozen & being able to watch 7de Laan 😜

Day 005.
A coffee shop at the shooting range?

My client was pretty clear
on who his ideal client was.....After all, it was him.

After many months of early morning visits
to his local shooting range,
he knew there was a need
for a good cuppa brew.

So... Ballistic Bru was born.

and we were intrigued.
We might not know anything about guns
[other than what we pick up from Netflix]

We do know a couple of things about coffee 😎
and thought this could be an interesting creative project!

Ps... that reminds me, I need to see if I can get a shot of what the vehicle looked like wrapped!

It started as a fun project,
because we wanted some art for the office.

It seems as though others liked it too,
and asked us to sell prints.

So we put a little ad out on the socials,
and had a couple of takers.

The highlights:
Not only did this splash of minimal art make our office look great,
the print also made its way onto a wall of a local conference facility,
and one was gifted to the new CEO at Merc. in East London.

Some said we should create a series of all the local hotspots.

We thought it best to get back to what we do best,
focusing on designing brand roadmaps instead. 🤪
