A businessman from Newlands West, north of Durban, was shot and killed in a hail of bullets on Thursday, 4 June.
Philani Nkwanyana was sitting in his BMW outside a house in E Section, KwaMashu, waiting for his wife after she got out to drop off their one-month-old baby when unknown armed suspects allegedly approached and opened fire.
Nkwanyana died at the scene. The motive for the killing remains unknown, and police are investigating the incident.
