T h e N o m x d C r e a t i v e The Nomad is the personal graphic designing brand of its owner, Jordan Davidson. Jordan is a second year Vega Design School student.

Okeanos Designs was created based on the fact that the owner of the brand has a fond love for the ocean due to the fact that she has grown up on the coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Creativity has always been a big part of Jordans life and by attending Vega Design School of Brand Leadership she is that much closer to beginning her career in Graphic design.

The honey badger
One of Africa's most ferocious animals, Honey Badgers have been known to attack Lions and Buffalo when threatened.

This logo design was created for a local photographer who is an avid wildlife lover. The logo required quite a boldness to it due to it having to be used as a visible water mark for pictures.

A visual identity for a anti racism campaign my team and I care up with. The reasoning behind the hexagon shapes in the logo is that they are the molecular structure of melanin. Lastly the color orange emphasizes the fact that a color is just a color.

Visual Identity Design
A visual identity design for a previous project where i created a brand that took advantage of an environmental issue to make a change through a new brand.

The rationale behind the design of the visual identity looks at the molecular structure of polyethelene. I chose this due to the fact that polyethelene particals otherwise known as Nurdles were spilt into the ocean after a huge storm in the Durban Harbour in South Africa. This issue is damaging the ocean as well as land environment and ecosystems.

By taking the molecular structure of this chemical asn linking it with the skeg outline I ws able to create a visual identity for the brand Zed.En Fin Co. The name orginates from the idea that the disaster occurred in KZN In Durban and so I took the ZN from Kwa-Zulu Natal and made it the Foundation of our brand. the Zed.En also representa the mission of the brand to achieve Zero Nurdles.

So after endless late nights and mild breakdowns, the hard work paid off. Last night at the Loeries Awards, Michael Kostakis and I managed to receive a bronze Loerie for our ZED.EN FIN Co project in the Collateral Design, student awards category. Could not be more proud of the both of us. Thank you to everyone for the support ✨
