📢 Important Regulatory Update: CPA Amendment Regulations & The Opt-Out Registry
The Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA) has issued an official statement regarding the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Amendment Regulations, 2026, and the proposed National Consumer Commission (NCC) Opt-Out Registry framework (OORS).

As the industry navigates the intersection of these new regulations and existing POPIA obligations, DMASA is actively seeking formal engagement with the NCC and the DTIC to secure clarity on implementation.

We invite the DMASA community and friends from across the industry to join us in celebrating the life of a remarkable leader and friend, Ethan September.

Ethan’s presence was a gift to us all and as we prepare to say our final goodbyes, we carry forward the lessons of humility and dedication he taught us through his work and his life.
