Today, we will be closed for business in solidarity with Women for Change's call on women and supporters of women to withhold their labour. South Africa experiences some of the world's highest levels of GBV, with the rate at which women are killed five times higher than the global average. This is about mothers, daughters, sisters, friends and neighbours whose lives have been stolen by violence. We pray for a South Africa where women can walk safely, and live without fear. We join the call to declare GBV|F a National Disaster and stand for real change.
