Sometimes telling the story means getting out into the field.
Recently, the BTM team headed to KwaZulu-Natal with Meat Naturally to capture the people, landscapes and everyday work behind the GRASS Programme.
Over several days, we filmed with farmers, Ecorangers, community leaders and programme partners, capturing everything from livestock and rangeland management to the systems communities are putting in place to manage carbon income and continue their restoration work.
We also captured stories exploring something that can easily get lost when talking about sustainability at scale: who gets to participate, who benefits, and what these programmes actually mean for people on the ground.
For us, that's social impact storytelling.
Go to the people.
Understand the work.
Capture the detail.
Tell the story with them, not just about them.
We can't wait to share what comes next.
