Not every project needs a plugin.

For Remme-Los Self Help Centre, I built two small fully custom forms designed specifically for how they work:

📄 Form 1: PDF Request Form
Users can request a copy of the entry form instantly — simple, fast, and automated.

📥 Form 2: Entry & Payment Upload Form
Users can complete their entry and upload proof of payment directly in one place.

Why custom?

Because sometimes plugins are:
❌ Too heavy
❌ Too limited
❌ Not flexible enough for real-world workflows

So I built something that actually fits their process — clean, lightweight, and user-friendly.

While rebuilding my own website, I've been thinking about something I see all the time with small businesses...

Many websites have all the right information, but they don't give visitors a clear next step.

People land on the website.
They scroll.
They look around.
Then they leave.

Not because the business is bad.
Not because the service is bad.

Because they're unsure what to do next.

A good website should answer three questions immediately:

✔ What do you do?
✔ Who do you help?
✔ How do I get started?

That's exactly what I'm focusing on while rebuilding the Maddie Helps website.

Less clutter.
More clarity.
Better enquiries.

Finalising my new website and one thing keeps standing out:

Most small business websites don’t have a traffic problem.
They have a clarity problem.

When visitors land on your website, they should immediately understand:
✔ what you do
✔ who you help
✔ what to do next

If they have to figure it out themselves, they usually leave.

That’s why I’m rebuilding my own website with a stronger focus on:
👉 clear messaging
👉 simple structure
👉 better enquiry flow
👉 fewer distractions

A website should guide people — not overwhelm them.

Still building. Still refining. But already seeing how much clarity changes everything.

I am currently rebuilding my own website… and honestly, it reminded how many websites are trying to do too much.
Too many pages.�Too many buttons.�Too much information.�Not enough direction.

A website shouldn’t just “look nice.” It should guide people clearly toward taking action.

That’s the biggest thing I’m focusing on right now:�👉 clarity over clutter
Because when visitors are confused or are not directed through clear messaging, they leave.
