Maxsigns (Pty) Ltd imports (and/or manufactures) display products and media consumable for the signage and printing industries. The business ideation initiated in July 2013 and the company was formed in August 2013. In December, the co-founders made their first trip to China and India to identify suppliers to source the initial list of products. The team identified suppliers that could supply prod

ucts that were identified as good sellers to initiate the start-up business. By end February 2014, four container loads of products were ordered from identified suppliers. The first two containers arrived in April 2014 and the business began trading in May 2014 when the other two containers of products were delivered. In the third month of trading, the next order of products were ready to be imported. The business is growing and expanding slowly but surely.
