iWatch is a professional on-line monitoring system which automatically archives photos of construction/building sites, photos that can be used to document your project and to create time-lapse movie for marketing and promotion. I am also proud to announce the new release in early March of iWatch-2 and iWatch-DIY (see www.buildingtimelapse.com/iWatch-2+vs+iWatch-DIY.html for more info). The way it
works, is that we install a minimum of 2 cameras on site. More cameras will obviously give better cover from different viewing angles. During the whole construction process, the cameras will take hires pictures at regular time intervals and automatically send them to a web server. So you, and all the people involved in your project, can watch your building growing on a web control panel, from an office computer, a laptop, a tablet or even a smartphone, from anywhere in the world, and at any time. Any photo taken from the beginning of the project, can be retrieved from the control panel, displayed on line, downloaded or emailed. The cost of using iWatch depends on the location of the site, the number of cameras, the duration of the project, the number of shots per day, the accessibility of the camera locations, the availability of a main power source or the need to go solar, the choice of communication network (wifi or cellular) and most importantly the availability of local technical support for basic maintenance (cleaning, replacing a battery...).
