This is our wax printer in slow motion — and honestly? It never gets old. 🤯

Every pass of that print head deposits a layer just 16 microns thick. For context — a human hair is 70 microns. We’re printing at less than a quarter of that. Over and over. Perfectly. Every single time.

Fun Fact Monday! 💡

Every single ring you see on this build plate was printed in ONE single run. Not one at a time. Not in small batches. ALL of them, at the same time! 🤯

While each ring is building up layer by micron-thin layer, every other ring on the plate is doing exactly the same thing simultaneously. The printer doesn’t slow down for detail and it doesn’t slow down for quantity — a full plate like this takes the same print time as just a handful of simple bands. 🔥

For jewellers and manufacturers doing production runs, this changes everything:

Not every design is a signet ring! 😄

We've been showing you a lot of that recently — but today we're switching it up with something completely different. Look at these two beautiful floral pieces! 🌸

Two stages in one shot:
🔹 Left — fresh off the printer, supports still attached. You can actually see the red support material showing exactly where the print was anchored during the build
🔹 Right — supports removed and cleaned. Same piece, zero marks, full detail intact and ready to sprue

Fun fact: those tweezers get a serious workout every single day! 😂

Every wax pattern you see lined up here has been cleaned and prepped by hand — one by one, support by support, piece by piece. No machine does this part for us. Just steady hands, sharp eyes, and the right tools. 🔧

And here's the thing most people don't realise — the wax patterns we send out are so clean that most of the time your casting house won't even be able to tell where the supports were attached. That's the whole point! ✨

Because any mark left on the wax becomes a mark in your casting. And marks in the casting become bench work. And bench work costs time and money that nobody wants to spend.

So yes, we take the cleaning seriously. Very seriously. 😄
