I was incredibly fortunate to be treated by the KZN Fire Protection Association to a memorable business trip to Howick. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by warm hospitality, passionate people, and the most beautiful Midlands scenery.

🌲 Highlights included:
• A visit to the stunning Shafton Airbase
• Catching the tail end of the Pietermaritzburg Airshow
• A taste of the breathtaking Midlands Meander
• Staying at the charming Old Halliwell Inn
• Attending the magical annual Christmas in July Dinner hosted at Old Halliwell Inn

Meeting many of the incredible pilots, dispatchers, and staff who keep KZN FPA running so efficiently was an absolute privilege. What an inspiring team; committed, courageous, and deeply connected to the work they do.
