Angel wore dresses to hide her shape.
I wanted to show her just how beautiful her shape actually is. ๐Ÿ’š

So we went dress shopping.

Not to hide her hips.
Not to cover her body.
But to find dresses that worked with her proportions โ€” creating balance, defining her shape and allowing her to feel beautiful in it.

Personal style isnโ€™t simply about finding beautiful clothes. It starts with understanding the woman who will be wearing them.

With Angel, that meant building the foundation first:

Nature, sunshine, flowing dresses, a little bohemian spirit and lots of colour.

Iโ€™m happiest with minimal makeup, something beautiful, colourful and floaty. I love this coral colour. Very much at home in my soft, muted colour palette. ๐Ÿฉท Happy Springโœจ

Jackie has an Inverted Triangle bodyshape with beautiful curve. So rather than hiding them under loose clothing, we worked with them.

โœจThe V neckline opens the upper body
โœจThe shaped bodice gives definition
โœจThe flowing skirt of the dress follows rather than clings
โœจ An open black layer creates a strong vertical line
โœจ Bright red earrings draws the eye up towards her face

OUTFIT 1: WORKING WITH PROPORTION

The power is in the process โœจ

Our aim was to embrace Jackieโ€™s naturally relaxed, comfortable style - while introducing the right proportions, colour and shape to make the outfit work for her. Practical can still be stylish.

This outfit allows for comfort, ease of movement and is still practical for her real life.

Here we introduced:
โœจLonger vertical lines
โœจMovement through the asymmetric hem
โœจA lighter layering piece
โœจ A break in colour on top for vertical emphasis
โœจAccesories that draw the eye vertically rather than across the body.

Same woman. Same relaxed personality.
With better understanding of how to dress in a way that feels like her.
