***First Christmas Recipe out for everyone to enjoy!!! ***
Who doesnt like a good Christmas Mince Pie. โโ๏ธ
Below are two different ways of making them.
One is a more simply and easy way for everyone to bake.๐
The second is a little more involved for someone with more time on their hands to bake ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ณ

EASY RECIPE:๐

Ingredients:
2 x packet Puff Pastry
1 x bottle of Mincemeat
2 x Beaten Eggs
50g Castor Sugar
50g Flour
Method:
1.Pre heat oven to 180 degrees.
2.Grease and flour your cupcake baking tins.
3.Flour your surface you will be rolling your pastry out on.
4.Roll pastry out to about 2mm thickness and cut out circles for your bases big enough to fit into the cupcake holder in your baking try, as well as up the sides.
5.Cut out smaller circles for the top of your pies.
6.Place bottoms into the cupcake holders and spoon in Mincemeat into each one.
7.Cover each one with a lid.
8.Using a fork, poke holes into the tops of each one.
9.Brush with egg.
10.Bake for 20-25 minutes.
11.Allow to cool slightly and dust Castor Sugar over.
ADVANCED RECIPE:๐คถ๐ผ
Ingredients:
Pastry:
375g Flour
260g Butter
125g Castor Sugar
1 large Egg
Mincemeat:
1 x Green Apple
Half Pineapple
Half Cup Raisins
Half Cup Currents/Dates
Quater Cup Dried Cranberries
2 x Oranges (Juiced)
Half Teaspoon Ground Ginger
Half Teaspoon Mixed Spice
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Tablespoon Sugar
Method:
Pastry:
1.Crumble together the flour and butter with your fingers.
2.Add the Castor sugar and stir in with a wooden spoon.
3.Add egg, mix together and place on counter to knead together into a dough.
4.Wrap in damp wet tea towel and chill for 10mins.
5.Roll out to about 2mm thickness.
6.Cut out circles for your bases big enough to fit into the cupcake holder in your baking try, as well as up the sides.
7.Cut out smaller circles for the top of your pies.
Mincemeat:
1.Cut all your ingredients into very small little squares. 2.Mix everything together over a medium to low heat on the stove.
3.Remove from heat.
4.Make sure oven is pre heated to 180 degrees.
5.Place bottoms into the cupcake holders and spoon in Mincemeat into each one.
6.Cover each one with a lid.
7.Using a fork, poke holes into the tops of each one.
8.Brush with egg.
9.Bake for 20-25 minutes.
10.Allow to cool slightly and dust Castor Sugar over.
