‼️ UPDATE ‼️ 👇🏼❣️

I’ve been back-and-forth-ing about converting The Communication Shop page into a blog page for months. Maybe three-ish years even 😅 ➡️ and here’s why;

I get loads of requests to follow my personal private page, and unfortunately it’s not a space I’m all too comfortable having anyone but nearest and dearest viewing. I talk loads of politics and parenthood etc, but from a vulnerable, non-career perspective. It’s for the people who get the nuance and therefore don’t feel triggered to dive into my DMs.

I’ve recently let some boundaries slide there and I can already see that although some people would love insight into me as a person, my private account isn’t the space for that.

The other side of the coin 🪙 is that, post-babies, I have had a massive existential shift around The Comm Shop, and the content we’ve put out. Honestly? I’m no longer here to try and inspire anyone to jump into entrepreneurship or spiritual alignment; this seems kind of….arrogant? Presumptive? The ambition of only someone who has no idea what it truly meant to be fully responsible for another human life?

So we’re not doing that anymore. Instead I’ll be sharing glimpses of my life and the lunacy of a woman pursuing greatness in a world that gets super pi**ed off when you do that 😂

Let’s see how it goes?

Life & Business Update:

First, “Hi” to every single person who’s chosen to continue to be a part of .shop community ✨ man, you guys have been patient with me 😂😅

As most of you know, I had my second baby in Jan this year, and two under two plus a business plus being one half of a marriage involving two entrepreneurs has been straight up HARD. But it’s also borne all sorts of fruit.

The god’s honest truth is that I experienced the most intense post partum anxiety with both of my 4th trimesters (and then some), and it’s been a very real challenge to overcome…but overcome I did. We did. All of us (my husband, girls, dogs…all).

And of course, the light at the end of the tunnel has been…another business 😅. Perhaps this is the insanity of the Entrepreneur, perhaps it’s the secret to life’s successes - continue to create and all of life’s wonders reveal themselves.

So, as we continue to service entrepreneurs and help them with their branding and marketing and communications, so too do I now own a beauty salon (which I like to call a Nail and Skincare bar) in Parkhurst, which you can go and follow (and come and visit for your treatments) 👇🏼

And you can continue to follow us here, where I’ll be sharing some of the very cool branding projects I worked on this year as well (no, of course I haven’t actually been on maternity leave).

I guess for now, that’s “all” 😂✨
