12 BABIES BORN IN MIGRANT CAMP DRAMA BY MALAWIANS

By Mr Lee

DURBAN – The Department of Home Affairs has confirmed that 12 babies have been born at the Sherwood migrant camp, where thousands of Malawian nationals have been living after fleeing anti-migrant tensions in parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

The makeshift camp, set up at Sherwood Community Hall, is housing between 1,000 and 1,900 people, many of whom authorities say are in South Africa illegally.

While buses continue transporting families back to Malawi, conditions at the camp have sparked concern, with reports of dehydration, illness and struggles to care for pregnant women, newborns and young children.

Government officials say humanitarian aid has been provided, including food, blankets and baby supplies, while efforts to speed up immigration processes and voluntary repatriation continue.

The situation has reignited debate around illegal immigration, documentation and the growing pressure on communities across South Africa.

A desperate Alexandra mother says her life has been turned upside down after discovering that another woman allegedly used her identity for nine years β€” leaving her unable to access money owed to her and struggling to provide for her baby.

The 17th Avenue resident claims she never lost her ID document, yet someone allegedly managed to use her identity for nearly a decade.

According to the woman, she has reported the matter to the police and obtained a case number as instructed by the company involved. However, she says she is now being given the run-around and cannot get the declaration letter needed to resolve the matter.

The ongoing dispute has left her without an income and unable to access funds she believes belong to her.

"I'm sitting at home with no income and a baby in the house with no essentials because of this situation," she said.

She also claims that attempts to seek assistance from the labour authorities have not yielded results because of the identity dispute.

The distressed mother is now appealing to anyone who can assist or advise her on how to speed up the process and reclaim her identity and benefits.

RULE number 1: Never stop using your brain when driving!!! IS THIS A JOKE? 😲

By Mr Lee
Mbyana ya Mahungu

How do you lose an entire trailer and not notice?

The driver claims he was busy talking on the phone while driving. But that raises even more questions. Was he so distracted that he completely stopped observing what was happening behind him? Or is there more to this story than meets the eye?

A trailer is not a cellphone or a set of keys. It's a massive piece of equipment. Many people are struggling to understand how someone could continue driving without realizing it was gone.

Was it negligence, distraction, or something else entirely? πŸ€”That story definitely sounds strange, and it's understandable why people are asking questions. However, unless there is evidence, it's best not to accuse the driver of selling the trailer. The facts currently suggest distraction, but investigators would need to determine exactly what happened.

SANTACO WARNS: DON'T SHUT DOWN SOUTH AFRICA OVER ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION PROTESTS

By Mr Lee

The South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) has issued a strong warning against planned mass action targeting illegal immigration, saying any disruption to transport services could hurt the economy and affect millions of ordinary South Africans.

In a statement released on Tuesday, SANTACO said it supports lawful immigration and believes everyone entering South Africa should comply with the country's immigration laws. However, the organisation stressed that concerns about illegal immigration must be addressed through legal and peaceful means.

The taxi body expressed concern over calls for demonstrations that could interfere with transport operations, restrict movement, or disrupt economic activity.

"SANTACO's business is the movement of people," the organisation said, noting that millions of commuters rely on taxis daily to get to work, school, healthcare facilities, and businesses.

The council warned that any unlawful action causing instability could negatively affect transport operators, small businesses, tourism, trade, and investor confidence.

SANTACO also highlighted the important role played by the taxi industry in cross-border travel and trade within the Southern African Development Community (SADC), transporting traders, workers, tourists, and families across the region.

While acknowledging South Africans' constitutional right to protest and advocate for policy changes, the organisation urged all groups to ensure their demonstrations remain peaceful, lawful, and respectful of the rights and dignity of others.

The council further called on government to strengthen border management, improve immigration systems, and consistently enforce existing immigration laws.

SANTACO said South Africa's future prosperity depends on economic stability, social cohesion, regional cooperation, and the uninterrupted movement of people and goods.

πŸ’” MISSING ALEXANDRA MAN FOUND DEAD AFTER FAMILY'S DESPERATE SEARCH

By Mr Lee
Mbyana ya Mahungu

The heartbreaking search for Witness Baloyi, a resident of Setjwetla in Alexandra, has come to a tragic end after his family identified him at a mortuary.

Witness was the same man we previously reported on after he was allegedly killed in a hit-and-run incident near a tavern on 1st Roosevelt Avenue in Alexandra during the early hours of Saturday morning.

His family confirmed his identity after we shared an unedited photograph from the scene.

According to relatives, Witness left home on Friday morning, telling his family that he was travelling to Mpumalanga for church. He never returned home and did not contact any family members. His cellphone remained switched off, with his last WhatsApp activity recorded at around 11:00 on Friday.

Loved ones searched tirelessly, checking with relatives, friends and hospitals, hoping to find him safe. Instead, they were met with the devastating news of his death.

The circumstances surrounding his final hours remain a mystery. If Witness was heading to Mpumalanga, what brought him back to Alexandra? And what exactly happened before the fatal incident?

As his family mourns, they are left with more questions than answers.

TRADITIONAL HEALER JAILED 8 YEARS FOR DRUGGING AND RA**NG PATIENT

By Beast of news

BURGERSFORT: A 49-year-old well-known traditional healer Daniel Masinga has been sentenced to eight years behind bars by the Burgersfort Regional Court on Monday for ra**ng a 38-year-old woman in Mooihoek, Mashemong.

On 4 June 2020, the victim visited Masinga’s residence after he offered her traditional medicine for an illness. She found four men drinking alcohol there.

Masinga gave her a concoction that left her dizzy and disoriented. He then offered her a place to rest, but when she regained consciousness, she was naked and being sexually assaulted. He allegedly threatened her with a firearm and r***d her repeatedly through the night.

The victim escaped the next day and reported the matter to Driekop SAPS. After Masinga absconded while on bail, he was re-arrested in December 2025. FCS investigator Sergeant Letsatsi Mojalefa’s diligent work secured the conviction.

Limpopo Provincial Police Commissioner Lt Gen Thembi Hadebe welcomed the sentence, saying it sends a strong message that gender-based violence perpetrators will face justice. Masinga was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
