Winter is here, our shivering bones declare! 🥶

Around this time, you may be hearing the term ‘Winter Solstice’ being thrown around. But what is a Winter Solstice, and is it responsible for leaving the fridge door open? ❄️

According to the boffins at the Smithsonian, during the Winter Solstice, “the sun appears lowest in the sky, with the least angle to Earth, and we receive less sunlight and warmth”.

That’s not nice 🙆🏾‍♂️
But wait, there’s more:
Due to the sun’s position, we have the pleasure of experiencing the shortest day and longest night of the year. This is great news for vampires 🧛🏼 but not such great news for humans because-
It’s tonight.
Yes, the Winter Solstice is tonight 😰
